Making Redford More Inclusive

Redford is a diverse community and it is important to find ways to assure all residents are included in our township to help it grow. To do this I will engage our community, by phone, email, social media and going into the neighborhoods to meet residents one on one. I will encourage residents in our Township to become engaged in our community and show them how to go about doing that.

I will provide information on all the boards, commissions, and committees and how to be considered for a position on them.  When making recommendations I will make sure that they best represent our diverse community.

A very important part is to actively work with residents to rebuild our Neighborhood Associations. These groups provide a way for neighbors to get to know each other better. You will receive current information on
what’s happening where you live and allows residents a small group atmosphere to meet and talk with our elected officials.

Making sure business leaders are involved in this process is also important. I will work with township leadership, Redford Chamber of Commerce and all other businesses, to get engaged in the process and find ways so resident and business can co-exist as neighbors.

I will work with residents and businesses to help them resolve issues they might have by proactively providing information to minimize problems in the future. I will work until we have resolution and always listen to your concerns.
